Event: Eyes of Hope
Date: October 1 - December 31, 2009
Where: All AMLI Atlanta Communities
Description: Residents and employees are invited to donate used glasses (prescription glasses, readers or sunglasses) to help those in need. This program helps serve more than one billion people globally who cannot afford or do not have access to eyewear. Donated glasses will be refurbished, cleaned, and labeled to benefit those in need.

Event: Atlanta Apartment Association Food-A-Thon
Date: Wednesday, July 22, 2009 to Friday, October 9, 2009
Description: AMLI residents can donate cans and other non-perishable food items to the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Monetary donations are also accepted. Every year AMLI works with the Atlanta Apartment Association to assist the Atlanta Community Food Bank by holding an annual food drive. The Atlanta Community Food Bank is now partnering with over 800 organizations to provide meals and groceries to Georgians in need of food assistance.
Event: Atlanta Apartment Association Can Can Ball
Date: Friday, August 21, 2009
Description: At 8:00pm the Atlanta Apartment Association will celebrate the 19th annual Can Can Ball. An event like no other, attendees will enjoy light fare from over 15 area chefs, dancing, and the ever popular silent auction featuring over 150 items. The Can Can Ball’s success is due to the generous group of industry professionals who continue to rally around the cause to raise money for the Atlanta Community Food Bank through sponsorships, donation of auction items, volunteering their time and talent, purchasing tickets, and attending the event. We invite AMLI residents to join us in supporting this great cause. Tickets are $75/each.
Event: Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

Description: AMLI Residential came together to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. Our employees and residents donated money and/or walked in the Race for the Cure. Thanks to all who supported this worthwhile cause!
Event: Toys for Tots Campaign
Date: Monday, November 10, 2008 to Wednesday, December 17, 2008
Description: AMLI communities collected new toys for the Toys for Tots organization. The primary goal of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is to deliver a message of hope to needy kids that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
Event: 2008 Annual Atlanta Apartment Association Food-a-Thon
Date: Sunday, June 01, 2008 to Wednesday, October 01, 2008
Description: AMLI communities collected $42,000 (equating to 210,000 cans of food) for the Atlanta Community Food Bank through participation in various fundraising opportunities in conjunction with the Atlanta Apartment Association Food-a-thon. Founded in 1979, the Atlanta Community Food Bank currently distributes almost 2 million pounds of food and other donated grocery items monthly to more than 800 nonprofit partner agencies in 38 counties in Metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
Event: Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
Date: Saturday, May 10, 2008
Description: The AMLI team ranked 4th overall and raised $12,250 to fund breast cancer research and outreach programs.
Event: Project Overcoat
Date: Saturday, January 12, 2008 to Sunday, January 20, 2008
Description: AMLI Residents donated new and gently used coats and blankets that were distributed to local nonprofit organizations. Project Overcoat provides thousands of new and gently used coats and blankets to men, women, and children in need.
