Description: We are collecting coats & blankets for Reconciliation Outreach, an organization that helps the homeless, the addicted, the impoverished & working poor in Old East Dallas.

Event: Bingo at Cooks Children’s Hospital

Where: Cooks Children's Hospital 801 Seventh Ave., Fort Worth TX, 76104
Description: Join AMLI volunteers to play bingo with the children at Cook's Children's Hospital.

Event: Eyes of Hope
Date: October 1 - December 31, 2009
Description: Residents and employees donated used glasses (prescription glasses, readers or sunglasses) to help those in need. This program helps serve more than one billion people globally who cannot afford or do not have access to eyewear. Donated glasses are refurbished, cleaned, and labeled to benefit those in need.
 
Event: Toys For Tots
Date: December 1 - December 11, 2009
Description: AMLI employees and residents collected toys for distribution to children in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area who would not have gifts for the holidays.
 
Event: Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
Date: October 17, 2009
Description: The DFW FAMLI had various fundraising activities and particpated in the race to raise money for this great cause!
 
Event: School Supply Drive
Date: August 1-August 10, 2009
Description: AMLI employees and residents collected and donated school supplies to non-profit agencies serving low-income families throughout North Texas.
 
Event: Dallas & McKinney SPCA Volunteer Day
Date: June 17 and June 19, 2009
Description: Dallas FAMLI volunteered their time at the Dallas and McKinney SPCA locations. The time was spent offering much needed TLC to dozens of shelter animals. The volunteers walked dogs, played with kittens, washed soiled bedding and stuffed dog toys.
