Event: Denver Rescue Mission
Date: Tuesday, October 25, 2011
FAMLI volunteers served lunch at the Downtown Denver Rescue Mission Shelter.
 
Event: School Supply Drive
Date: July 1–31, 2011
The Denver AMLI Communities collected and donated school supplies to Denver Public Schools.
 
Event: Multiple Sclerosis Walk 2011
Date: May 7, 2011
Walk to raise awareness and donations for people living with MS and remembrance of those who have passed from the disease.
 
Event: Safe House Denver Wish List Collection
Date: March 1-31, 2011
Visit www.safehouse-denver.org for wish list supplies and additional volunteer opportunities. SafeHouse Denver operates the only shelter in the City and County of Denver that exclusively serves victims of domestic violence. SafeHouse also runs a non-residential Counseling & Advocacy Center where they provide support services to women and children experiencing intimate partner violence who don't need emergency housing.
 
Event: Valentines Day Nursing Home Visit & Flower Delivery
Date: February 14, 2011
The Denver region gave some extra love on Valentines Day and visited Aurora Care Center, a nursing home near our Lowry community, to visit with the residents and deliver flowers to help brighten their day.
