AMLI will be holding a wine tasting event at Wine Flights on January 13th to help raise money for the Sunshine Center. Sunshine Center is a special and necessary school in the Lee's Summit area that helps handicapped and special needs children. They are in great need of supplies for their school. The money raised at the event will help buy supplies. We will also be doing other fun events throughout Febuary and March to help raise money. Join us!

AMLI will be raising money for Wayside Waifs. There are hundreds of abused and lonely animals needing homes and AMLI hopes to help. We will be collecting items needed for the shelters, volunteering at the shelters, doing an "Adopt a Day" at one of the communities and more! Stay tuned for more information.

Soup Kitchen and Coat Collection

Eyes of Hope
|

Residents and employees donated used glasses (prescription glasses, readers or sunglasses) to help those in need. This program helps serve more than one billion people globally who cannot afford or do not have access to eyewear. Donated glasses are refurbished, cleaned, and labeled to benefit those in need.

The Kansas FAMLI, along with our residents, collected and donated supplies to Sunflower House. Sunflower House, a child abuse prevention center, is a non-profit United Way agency serving Wyandotte and Johnson Counties in Kansas. Their mission is to protect children from physical and sexual abuse through education, advocacy, forensic and medical services.
