AMLI volunteers supported Animal Haven by collecting wish list items and donations from residents and employees. All in all, they raised $700 for the shelter!

AMLI held a wine tasting event at Wine Flights on January 13th to help raise money for the Sunshine Center. Sunshine Center is a special and necessary school in the Lee's Summit area that helps handicapped and special needs children. The money raised at the event helped buy supplies. We did other fun events throughout Febuary and March to help raise money. Thanks to all who particpated!

Eyes of Hope

Residents and employees donated used glasses (prescription glasses, readers or sunglasses) to help those in need. This program helps serve more than one billion people globally who cannot afford or do not have access to eyewear. Donated glasses are refurbished, cleaned, and labeled to benefit those in need.

The Kansas FAMLI, along with our residents, collected and donated supplies to Sunflower House. Sunflower House, a child abuse prevention center, is a non-profit United Way agency serving Wyandotte and Johnson Counties in Kansas. Their mission is to protect children from physical and sexual abuse through education, advocacy, forensic and medical services.
