Residents and employees are invited to donate used glasses (prescription glasses, readers or sunglasses) to help those in need. This program helps serve more than one billion people globally who cannot afford or do not have access to eyewear. Donated glasses will be refurbished, cleaned, and labeled to benefit those in need.

The Kansas FAMLI, along with our residents, collected and donated supplies to Sunflower House. Sunflower House, a child abuse prevention center, is a non-profit United Way agency serving Wyandotte and Johnson Counties in Kansas. Their mission is to protect children from physical and sexual abuse through education, advocacy, forensic and medical services.

City Union Mission Holiday Gift Drive

The Kansas City FAMLI collected 18 bags filled with holiday gifts for over 500 families served by the City Union Mission. For 84 years, City Union Mission has been helping people break the cycle of poverty and homelessness in Kansas City. The donations were delivered to the holiday store, where families will get to "shop" for gifts for their loved ones.
