I enjoy working for AMLI because of the people and the teamwork that is evident from the upper management to the onsite people. The attitude and dedication expressed by the company's (read more) leadership gives the entire team a direction and common goal to work towards. Additionally, there is great respect for other team members. When it all comes down to it, the people I work with make it great to work at AMLI. I would recommend AMLI as a place to work because we make employee recognition and training a priority, so all new hires are immediately put into training programs. Training is regularly available to employees throughout their tenure with AMLI. AMLI provides the tools and training for people to succeed and advance within the company.

I like working for AMLI because of the sense of family. AMLI is the first company I have worked for where I actually feel that Senior Management thinks about the worker bees on the many (read more) levels beneath them. In so many other companies, there is a sense that you have to ultimately fend for yourself. I don’t feel that way here. Here I feel like management understands that we all have lives to live and that we all have personal responsibilities as well as career objectives. I can appreciate a company that allows a balance of family and work. AMLI is that kind of company and I am blessed to be apart of it.

I have worked for AMLI for almost 9 years. Over the years I have seen much growth and development in both AMLI Culture and AMLI Management. AMLI is such a great company to work for and I am proud to work for (read more) a leader in the industry. AMLI focuses on selecting, hiring, and training the right people for the job. I have been part of the AMLI peer training program for over 7 years. The peer training program assists new hires by teaming them up with seasoned AMLI employees. This hands-on, immediate training helps new employees to succeed in the job they have been hired to do. I have referred employees to AMLI, and it has been great seeing them grow and develop within such a great company. I plan on having many more years with the AMLI FAMLI!

I like working in Accounts Payable because the people are like family -- they are nice, caring, considerate and friendly. On property it’s the attitude of people like the community managers that encourage me, even on my worst day. AMLI's welcoming environment is one of the first things that I notice with our new hires. I was no exception. In November 2004, I began my career in the Construction/Development Department. Whatever new challenges I face, I always know that I have access to a large network of willing colleagues ready to lend advice, share knowledge, and help me perform my best. Prior to joining the AMLI FAMLI I had no intentions of being in the industry for long. I really had no aspirations on growing in this field but only to sustain a paycheck. There are so many avenues of growth and education that I not only appreciate but have taken advantage of. I started off as a Leasing Consultant and worked myself up to Leasing Manager. It was the continued education, feedback from my manager, and the genuinely supportive members of the AMLI FAMLI that drove me to change my goals. Working for AMLI has not only been a life changing detail in my life, but because of AMLI I now know my own potential. They have given me the opportunity to travel, reach out to our community by being apart of the volunteer program, and have dedicated much of their time and effort into providing us with AMLI scholarship dollars program. I've enjoyed my time with AMLI for so many reasons but especially because the company truly gives back to the community. That’s extremely important to me! The charity organizations (read more) that we've supported over the years include The Atlanta Community Food Bank, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization and the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program. AMLI is also committed to "going green," so we've rolled out several Green initiatives at many of our communities. I am extremely proud to be working at AMLI because of its reputation. When I share the way we do things with my peers in the industry, I always hear from them that "we do it right." I even left for a while but came back. I found nothing that compared to AMLI - our business practices, the way you're treated as an employee, and AMLI’s open door policy seems to be second to none. I have worked for AMLI for just over two years now and I still enjoy it. I appreciate many things from the company. AMLI has great a peer training program to help new employees learn more (read more) about their jobs and about AMLI policies. The company recognizes all of your efforts. The management team comes to each property to see how things are progressing for the year. They reward your efforts with awards like the Clean and Green and the Work Horse awards and many other incentives. At the quarterly awards we get to recognize how hard others have worked at their properties, and we find out how our efforts are doing against the National ratings. The Company gives everyone the opportunity to advance from any job level. I have been taking classes to work my way up the Tech Tier program. I find working with all my co-workers at my property a joy. At AMLI I have experienced that the office and maintenance teams work together and help each other, whenever possible. I really enjoy working with our residents and helping them with their needs, and on good days I get to pet some of the dogs walking throughout the building. I really appreciate the opportunity to work for AMLI.

I have been employed with AMLI for the last eight years as a Maintenance Service Technician with AMLI Residential. I have been with AMLI for over 11 years and currently work as a Senior Development Accountant. I work closely with both the accounting group and development teams that help build AMLI communities. I've been with AMLI for nearly 2 years and it has truly flown by. I've had to opportunity to work at two Denver communities, including our lease up.
