• 2-person household: $44,260–$64,260
• 3-person household: $52,300–$72,300
• 4-person household: $60,280–$80,280
• 5-person household: $66,760–$86,760

Program highlights

Applying for the Mueller Affordable Housing Program requires specific documentation to verify your eligibility. Here’s what you’ll need to gather before starting your application.

• Proof of employment and income

You must provide two full months of paystubs. Please note that per the Mueller Affordable Housing Program, you must show proof of employment and work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

• Self-employed applicants

If you are self-employed, you will need to submit a Profit & Loss statement along with four months of bank statements. Additionally, HomeBase will require two years of tax return transcripts, which can be downloaded from the IRS website.

• Bank statements

All applicants must provide three consecutive months of checking and savings account statements. These must be full statements, not just account activity summaries.

• Security deposit

A refundable $500 security deposit is required at the time of leasing. There is no application fee.

• HomeBase Intake Form

HomeBase works with the City of Austin to conduct the final review and issue approval for the Mueller Affordable Housing Program.
