With plenty of space to spread out and an abundance of talent and inspiration, Southeast Denver has quietly become one of the city's most exciting craft beer destinations!
While downtown Denver often gets the spotlight in terms of bars and breweries, the neighborhoods stretching from Cherry Creek through Centennial, Lone Tree and Englewood also offer an impressive collection of brewery taprooms that rival anything you'll find in the city center. Whether you're a local resident or just passing through, these breweries provide everything from family-friendly gathering spots to intimate taprooms where everybody knows your name.
What makes this area particularly appealing is the diversity of options available. You'll find everything from space-themed breweries catering to the military community near Buckley Space Force Base to internationally-inspired taprooms serving beers infused with spices from around the world. Most importantly, these breweries have embraced their role as community gathering places, offering dog-friendly patios, family-welcoming atmospheres and plenty of parking, something that can be hard to find in more urban locations.
Here are some of our favorites!
Breweries In Southeast Denver

Lone Tree Brewing Company
Located just west of Park Meadows Mall, Lone Tree Brewing Company holds the distinction of being Lone Tree's first and largest independent craft brewery! What really sets them apart is that they're one of the few breweries in the Denver Metro area that allows dogs inside the taproom, not just on the patio.
This European-style craft brewery features one of the largest tasting rooms in Colorado, making it perfect for private events and large gatherings. They've also expanded with a satellite taproom in Parker, giving beer lovers multiple locations to enjoy their brews.
Their beer lineup includes their Great American Beer Festival Gold-Winning Mexican Lager, along with flagship beers, rotating seasonals and even a nitro tap option. The selection ranges from classic IPAs to barrel-aged beers and more, ensuring there's something on tap for every palate. Food trucks also rotate daily, so you'll always have a variety of dining options, or you can bring your own food for a picnic on their outdoor patio.
The brewery also hosts regular events including trivia nights, making it a true community hub with ample parking readily available and easy accessibility, whether you're shopping at the nearby mall or making a dedicated brewery visit.
Resolute Brewing Company
Resolute Brewing has established itself as a community-focused craft brewery dedicated to quality beers, with their Centennial location featuring an impressive 20 brews on tap, ensuring you'll always find something new to try.
The spacious taproom comes alive with rotating food trucks, live music and local sports on TV, creating an atmosphere that appeals to diverse crowds. What really stands out is their large dog-friendly patio, which provides plenty of room for you and your four-legged friends to relax and enjoy the Colorado weather.
Beyond just serving great beer, Resolute has built its reputation on community involvement and charitable initiatives, regularly hosting events that benefit local organizations and making every pint count toward something bigger. Launch Pad Brewery
Launch Pad Brewery in Aurora brings a unique space-themed concept to the craft beer scene, with 32 beers on tap that are all brewed in-house with their 5-barrel brew system! With a quirky theme and hands-on care from the staff, this veteran-owned brewery has become a beloved staple for the military community near Buckley Space Force Base.
The space theme extends throughout the brewery from the décor to the beer names, with popular selections including the George Washington Carver and the Peanut Butter Time Machine, showcasing their creative and, dare we say, out of this world approach to brewing. The owner, a retired Air Force veteran who also worked for Lockheed Martin, created Launch Pad to rebuild the camaraderie he missed from military service.
As a dog-friendly brewery with food trucks regularly on-site, Launch Pad welcomes families and pets alike, and while parking can be challenging at times, the strip mall location offers nearby amenities. The brewery has successfully created that neighborhood bar atmosphere where regulars are recognized and newcomers are welcomed warmly.

Wild Sky Brewery – County Line
Wild Sky Brewery's Centennial location offers more than just great beer, with their tagline saying it all: "Bold Burgers, Barrel-Aged Brews, and Epic Fun!" Unlike many taprooms that rely on food trucks, Wild Sky features a full kitchen serving up burgers alongside their barrel-aged brews.
The entertainment factor is what sets Wild Sky apart, with pinball machines and table games creating a lively atmosphere — they also offer a private event room, making it a popular choice for parties and corporate gatherings. The combination of food, drinks and games makes it particularly appealing for families, as kids can enjoy the games while adults sample the beer selection.
With good access and available parking, Wild Sky has positioned itself as a destination brewery where you can plan to spend an entire evening rather than just stopping in for a quick pint.
Living the Dream Brewing Company

Their philosophy centers on independence, craftsmanship and quality, all of which are evident in every beer they produce.
Their beer menu includes standouts like the Leopold Bros. Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Velvet Stout, the 7-Speed IPA which pays tribute to Colorado's cycling lifestyle and the Ice Climber West Coast Imperial IPA. With ales, lagers and seltzers on tap, they cater to a wide range of preferences.
Pet policies vary by location, as dogs are allowed indoors and on the patio at Highlands Ranch but only on the patio at Sterling Ranch. Both locations host Wednesday trivia nights and are centrally located near C-470 and US-85, providing easy access to local Denver area attractions like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Fiddler's Green.
Downhill Brewing – Greenwood Village
The Greenwood Village location of Downhill Brewing on Arapahoe Road represents the brewery's expansion into the Denver Tech Center area, and every Thursday, the taproom comes alive with Trivia Night, drawing competitive crowds looking to test their knowledge while enjoying craft beer.
Downhill Brewing is known for unique offerings like their peanut butter ale, which is only available in their taproom, and the rotating craft beer selection ensures regular visitors always have something new to try. Dogs are not just welcome here, they'll receive plenty of love and attention from the staff and other patrons.
The taproom offers great views, adding to the overall experience, and located on Arapahoe Road with available parking, it's become a popular after-work destination for professionals in the Tech Center area.
Denver Beer Company – Littleton
Denver Beer Company's expansion to Main Street in Littleton brings their successful formula to the historic downtown area, with this location serving craft beers alongside a full lunch and dinner menu, distinguishing it from taprooms that rely solely on food trucks.
Being part of the popular Denver Beer Company family means consistent quality and a proven track record, and the Main Street location offers excellent walkability with street and nearby lot parking available. The historic downtown Littleton setting provides a charming backdrop for enjoying craft beer, whether you're a local or visiting the area for the first time!

Sanitas Brewing Company – Englewood
Sanitas Brewing has created more than just a brewery; it's created a much-needed and beloved multi-purpose community space! Opening as early as 6am with Atlas Coffee serving specialty roasts, the space transforms throughout the day and, by noon, C-Burger starts serving burgers made from 100% regenerative beef, adding a sustainability angle to the dining options.
The taproom doubles as a coworking space during the day, offering professionals an alternative to traditional coffee shops, and the rotating beer selection includes options from both the Englewood location and their original Boulder brewery. Located at the intersection of Broadway and Belleview, it's easily accessible with available parking and patio seating for those with dogs.
Littleton Brewing Company
Littleton Brewing Company takes pride in crafting beer that reflects the rugged spirit of their community, with their "Rough & Ready" philosophy emphasizing bold, unrefined beers with authentic flavors that don't try to be something they're not.

Their modern, eclectic ales and lagers are complemented by a craft bites food program, and the brewery donates 1% of all revenue to the Brew Like a Girl Scholarship Fund that supports women in the brewing industry. Unlike many breweries in the area, Monolith doesn't allow dogs, but they make up for it with a full bar offering wine and cocktails alongside their beer selection.
