Denver's Happiest Happy Hours | AMLI Residential

When it comes to happy hour, Denver’s bars and restaurants don’t joke around. You shouldn’t either. With so many options to choose from, stick to establishments that won’t weaken their pours or pull other stops to deter you from pulling up a stool. Here are several Denver happy hours you can count on to do the job right.

Appaloosa Grill

For a 16th Street Mall mainstay, Appaloosa Grill is always affordable. During happy hour, however, drinks at this joint become a downright bargain. PBRs are , local drafts , and select wines . Appaloosa Grill is a 15-minute walk or short shuttle ride from AMLI Park Avenue. Happy hour is from 3pm to 6pm and 10pm to midnight, seven days a week.

Coohills

Happy hour drinks and apps are a pop at this LoDo establishment, a 15-minute walk from AMLI Riverfront Park. Visit between 3pm and 6pm on weekdays or 4pm and 6pm on Saturday to get in on the deals.

D Bar

If you live in AMLI Park Avenue’s Uptown Denver apartments, D Bar could be your go-to neighborhood watering hole. Two blocks away, you can down well drink after well drink without ever have to worry about driving home. Other happy hour specials include drafts, house wines, and a handful of mouthwatering snacks. D Bar’s happy hour takes place daily from 3pm to 6pm.

Guard and Grace

This downtown Denver steakhouse is pretty upscale, but happy hour makes it feel more accessible. Small seafood bites and carefully crafted cocktails are more affordable between 3pm and 6pm than at other times. Guard and Grace is a 15-minute walk from AMLI Park Avenue and a five-minute drive from AMLI Riverfront Park.

Larimer Lounge

Before live music fills the air each weeknight, Larimer Lounge transforms into a delightfully affordable place to get your buzz on. Well drinks are .50 and a shot of Jim Beam with a PBR is just from 4pm to 8pm Monday through Friday.

My Brother’s Bar

This historic bar is known for serving Neal Cassady in the early 1940s. Proof is proudly displayed on the wall. From 4:30pm to 6:30pm on weekdays, wells drinks and house wines are two-for-one and all draft beers are off. My Brother’s Bar is a ten-minute walk from AMLI Riverfront Park.

Old Major

Draft beers are and craft cocktails during Old Major’s daily happy hour. But the grub specials are what really steal the show. The pork burger, sausage plate, and pizza are mainstays on the happy hour menu, but most other deals change with the seasonal menu. Old Major is a 15-minute walk from AMLI Riverfront Park’s LoHi apartments. Old Major’s happy hour is 3pm to 6pm, every day of the week.

Panzano

Panzano is another place where happy hour food specials are as much or more of a draw than drink specials. Light and flavorful Italian bites are sold from to , pairing nicely with draft beers, house wine, and discount cocktails. This upscale downtown Denver eatery serves happy hour from 2:30pm to 6pm.

The Pig & The Sprout

A short walk from AMLI Riverfront Park, this New American restaurant runs happy hour twice daily. Well drinks cost and specialty spirits are discounted during this time. But its the 0 wine carafes that make this one of the hottest new happy hours in town. Drop in between 3pm and 6pm or after 11pm for your affordable carafe.

Stoic & Genuine

Happy hour is early, but noteworthy, at this Union Station seafood restaurant. On weekdays, oysters are and select cocktails from 2pm to 4:30pm. Stoic & Genuine is a 15-minute walk from AMLI Riverfront Park.

Vesper Lounge

Vesper Lounge’s dim lighting and reasonable music volume makes it a good place to catch up with friends. A twice daily happy hour sure doesn’t hurt either. Between 4pm and 6pm and after 11pm Sunday through Thursday, drafts are .50 off and cocktails just .50. On Monday, happy hour runs from open to close.
