3 Places to Brunch in Austin, TX | AMLI Residential

Texas’s capital city of Austin, thriving in just about every imaginable way, has no shortage of tasty food.  Culinary options abound for every dining occasion, including Sunday brunch.  For your enjoyment, we have prepared a list of three brunch hot-spots—each of which is conveniently located near one of AMLI’s luxury Austin apartment communities—that you should check out!

The Omelettry

The Omelettry has been a favorite haunt of Rosedale, Brentwood, and Allandale residents for decades.  In all that time, the place has hardly changed.  They still serve satisfying portions of traditional breakfast fare.  Give your favorite frying pan and stainless steel stove top a break, and hop on over to The Omelettry one Sunday morning for a mouthwatering avocado omelet and a side of fresh fruit.  Just be sure to get there early to snag your table!

Annie’s Café and Bar

So what if you stopped here for pizza on Saturday night?  If you like the atmosphere at Annie’s, then their brunch will not disappoint.  The selection contains standard fare options: pancakes, French toast, omelets and Eggs Benedict.  But it also has some enticing alternative options: a caprese sandwich, chicken schnitzel, and beef carpaccio.  In addition to Bloody Marys and mimosas, the wash-down-your-food choices include Bellinis and proseccos.  And if you are feeling too lazy to traipse down the street and grab a booth, you can order online or phone in your order and have Sunday brunch delivered.  Talk about service.  The walk to Annie’s from AMLI Downtown takes approximately four minutes.

Mulberry

Given its prime location in Downtown Austin, one may not be surprised to hear that Mulberry brunch is served until 4 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.  This affords those who wish to stay in bed until 2 PM following a night on the town with the option to do so and still enjoy a leisurely brunch.  Eggs, cheeses, meats, and salads dominate Mulberry’s brunch menu.  And reviewers agree that everything is exceptional.  According to Google Maps, the walk from AMLI on 2ND to Mulberry is even shorter than the walk from AMLI Downtown to Annie’s: just 3 minutes.

No matter which of our fine AMLI apartment communities you call home, you can count good brunch options being just a short jaunt away.  This article only scratches the surface of the dozens of themed and traditional brunch options one can find in the vicinity.  Try a few.  Find your favorites.  Use your weekends wisely.  Live Life + Love Life. And let us know how we can help!
