Whether you’ve had a long day at work or have been running around all day wrapping up errands, there’s nothing quite like an ice cold beer to help you unwind. And at Lone Tree Brewing Company, that’s exactly what you’ll get. As you enter into this European-style craft brewery, you’ll notice friends catching up, co-workers cheers-ing to another long day completed and families playing board games. Open seven days a week, Lone Tree Brewing Co. provides you with the option to tour the brewery, visit the tasting room and, of course, drink plenty of beer! With friendly service, great beer and even better company, you can’t go wrong. To top things off? It’s less than a 10-minute drive from our Ridgegate apartments!
When it comes to picking your beer of choice, Lone Tree has plenty of choices. For a beer with a clean and crisp finish, the Mexican-style light lager is a popular choice, or, you can opt for their Irish-style red ale for something a little heavier with a malty finish. For those looking for a beer with a bold flavor, their double IPA is sure to hit the spot. But be careful, it’s alcohol by volume is 8 percent, so make sure you have a designated driver if you’re planning to stay awhile! Can’t decide which you want? No worries! Take advantage and try out their beer flights. Lone Tree Brewing works hard to always release new seasonal beers, so be sure to go often to try them all out! And with both indoor and outdoor seating, choose to relax inside or take your beer outside to enjoy while soaking up some Colorado sunshine.
To keep their customers entertained, the brewery includes a calendar packed with events to keep you coming back for more. With happenings ranging from boot camps to blood drives, there’s sure to be something for everyone! Wondering what’s coming up for the month of May? Check out some of their events below:
- May 5: Salsa and Guacamole Competition
- May 11: Beer Bus
- May 20: Pint for *Two* Pints Blood Drive
- May 31: Paul Lechner Solo Acoustic Show
And while this brewery may not sell food, they provide you with the option to bring your own or have your favorite meal delivered directly to the tasting room! Not interested? No worries, there are food trucks parked outside of the brewery to curb your hunger and suit your needs.
The owners and staff of Lone Tree work diligently to give back to the community. In 2014, they created a “Charity of the Month” program, where different charities are highlighted each month and receive a portion of sales made from their tasting room. Already in 2019, they’ve supported charities such as Freedom Service Dogs, Douglas Land Conservancy and the Colorado Youth Corps Association. Their philanthropy has not only helped countless organizations but has served as a great way to bring people together to help the greater good.
Lone Tree Brewing Company is a place residents and tourists alike have grown to love. Be sure to stop on by the next time the clock hits five!
