You can eat well here for a month without repeating yourself. Azotea Cantina comes from the team behind Tacos & Tequilas and runs a Mexico City-inspired menu with fresh margaritas and an expansive rooftop patio, which is the single best seat in the district when the weather cooperates. The birria gets talked about a lot, and deservedly so.
HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern takes the opposite approach: two levels, balcony seating overlooking Atlantic Green’s green space, hand-cut steaks, an award-winning burger, and one of the larger whiskey and bourbon collections in the city.
For something more interactive, Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ puts a smokeless grill in the middle of your table and lets you cook your own kalbi short rib and harami skirt steak. It's dinner and an activity. Bring people who like to talk with their hands.

Parks and outdoor activities in Atlantic Station
The Millennium Gate Museum sits a short walk away, an 82-foot triumphal arch housing a museum of Georgia history, with gardens, a pond, and a rooftop conservatory that gives you skyline views all the way to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Even if you never go inside, the surrounding greenspace is a genuinely lovely place to eat lunch.
Push a little farther and the options open up fast. Piedmont Park is a short hop east, with Lake Clara Meer reflecting the Midtown skyline and roughly four million visitors a year who agree it's worth the trip. To the north, the BeltLine's Northside Trail runs through Tanyard Creek Park under a huge wooden rail trestle, and it's one of the quieter, leafier stretches of the whole 22-mile loop. Great for a two-mile run that doesn't feel like a workout!

Like us humans, dogs also do pretty darn well here. The gated Atlantic Station dog park is a genuine neighborhood institution: it’s well maintained with turf, water, and a regular crowd of owners who actually watch their dogs.
Back at the building, there's a pet spa and grooming station, so muddy paws after a creek walk don't become a messy bathroom situation. The wide sidewalks and short blocks throughout the district make the daily walk pleasant instead of a negotiation with traffic, and the private greenspace courtyard gives you a quick option on nights when it's raining and nobody is feeling ambitious.
Walkability, commutes, and transit in Atlantic Station
This is where the neighborhood really earns its reputation. The Atlantic Station Free Ride shuttle runs seven days a week from 5am to midnight, arrives roughly every 15 minutes, and connects the district to the Arts Center MARTA station in about 10 minutes. It's free for residents, employees, and visitors alike, and there's a tracking app so you're not standing around guessing. Can't beat free! Though, if you'd rather walk, Arts Center is about a 12-minute stroll.
From Arts Center you're on the Red and Gold MARTA rail lines with a straight shot to the airport, and MARTA buses 37 and 94 also serve the district, connecting to West Midtown, Georgia Tech, and the West End. Drivers aren't left out either, and part of the appeal of living in Atlantic Station Atlanta GA is direct access to I-75 and I-85, which puts both Downtown and Buckhead within a short drive. Job market and employers near Atlantic Station
You may not have to commute far to get to work at all.
Tech giant Microsoft occupies the Atlantic Yards development directly adjacent to the community, a two-building project of roughly 523,000 square feet that brought about 1,500 tech jobs to the district. Georgia Tech's campus is minutes south, and the talent pipeline it produces is exactly why so many companies have planted flags nearby.
Google runs its Southeastern sales hub from Midtown, and Equifax, Norfolk Southern, and a long list of others sit within a few miles. Midtown as a whole packs more than 82,000 jobs into about 1.2 square miles, which is why the low commute times to nearby employers are some of our favorite parts about living here in Atlantic Station. Ask the leasing team about the preferred employer discount, too, since several nearby companies qualify!
For anyone working remotely or hybrid, the co-working spaces here include private zoom rooms and conference rooms, plus a coffee bar with Starbucks coffee. Take the call from the huddle room, then walk twenty feet to the rooftop deck for lunch. Hard to beat that setup!
