Our Breatheasy™ program, available at select communities in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver and Seattle, prohibits smoking by residents and guests inside apartment homes and throughout the community. You won’t see those harmful clouds of smoke at your AMLI smoke free apartments in these cities! Not only do green apartments help reduce your carbon footprint, but green apartments also help you save money. (We think it’s safe to say living green helps you save green!) At AMLI, you can see that living green and building green are two qualities woven deep into the core values that make up our company.

• First, we’ve partnered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR® program and have committed to help improve the energy efficiency of our apartment buildings by 10 percent or more through the ENERGY STAR Challenge. What’s a part of the challenge? We are performing energy audits on all of our communities and analyzing possible conservation strategies. Whether it’s through energy efficient lighting, ENERGY STAR® appliances, programmable thermostats, additional insulation or other improvements, AMLI is committed to lowering resident utility bills and reducing our carbon footprint. Thus, creating green apartments for our residents to enjoy.
• AMLI is also taking measures to enhance the indoor air quality of all of our communities. We are purchasing low-VOC paints, carpets and adhesives, as well as advanced air filters, fresh air ventilation systems and green cleaning products.
