If you live anywhere in or near our luxury Dallas apartments, then this curated list of haunted houses will be fun for the whole family. Even if you don’t have kids to take with you, you’re sure to have fun without too much of a scare!

Ghostly Hauntings

Come see Chestnut Square after dark and spend two hours touring historic homes in the dark. The tour begins with paranormal activity audio and video clips before heading inside several homes and hearing about the ghostly hauntings that take place in the square. This event has gained popularity over the years and it is highly recommended to secure tickets in advance. The scares go on, rain or shine!
Haunted History Walk

Enjoy a walk under the cover of dark as a ranger leads you through Penn Farm. Keep an eye out for visitors from the past. It is rumored that some of Penn Farm’s former residents return to Cedar Hill to offer brief history lessons. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a snack and water to enjoy on your journey through the haunted past. Kids ages 12 and under are free to attend!
Screams® Halloween Theme Park

Screams® Halloween Theme Park is perfect for families with older kids looking to enjoy a night at a one stop shop haunted house extravaganza. With 5 different haunted houses to choose from, you can find the house with the right level of scare for you or make your way through all five houses. One visit or several visits to Screams® will provide a whole season of scary fun as you explore the different themed houses, scream your heart out in karaoke, enjoy live entertainment and wander through the cemetery. You can enjoy food throughout the park as a family or visit the pubs and enjoy a drink while the kids scream the night away. Challenge each other to one of the many skills games like ax throwing. Parking is always free and various passes are available to expedite your way through the lines or score some deals as a group.

Three haunted houses, 50 haunted acres, what could go wrong? The lore behind these haunted houses begins in 1901 with a werewolf and vampire being ran out of town by the townspeople and a tragic dinner party gone wrong. Explore the houses on the property and the surrounding acres that are still being haunted by the dead and undead. Weather can close some attractions, so keep an eye on the sky (or simply visit the pumpkin patch on site for more info). Various ticket and pricing options are available here.
Dark Hour Haunted House

Dark Hour Haunted House has been rated one of the best spooky houses in Dallas-Fort Worth.
