What’s your favorite fall comfort food? Can you make the recipe yourself? If so, you could win something for it.
AMLI is throwing a nation-wide recipe contest to find the AMLI resident with the best fall comfort food recipe. For a chance to win up to ,500 in culinary prizes, all you need to do is share a photo of your recipe on Facebook, along with the ingredients, and you’ll be entered to win. Just remember to use #AMLIEATS.
Your own culinary imagination is the only barrier to entry. All recipes are accepted so long as they are your own. We won’t tell Grandma if you use her pumpkin pie recipe, but if most of your recipe comes from a book, magazine, or website, we do expect you to give credit where it’s due. Photos must also be your own. It’s as simple as that. So, whether it has the tangiest sauce, comes on the biggest plate, or is stuffed with the cheesiest of cheeses—may the best dish win.

- Go to your AMLI community’s Facebook page.
- Click on the contest link at the top of the page.
- Upload a photo of your best fall comfort food recipe. Include the ingredients and instructions, use the hashtag #AMLIEATS, and fill out a brief entry form.
The Prize
Finalists will be chosen based on the perceived tastiness and creativity of their recipe and how well they compose the photo. A panel of AMLI Residential judges will select nine regional winners, one winner from each of AMLI’s nine regions (Dallas, Austin, Houston, California, Seattle, Atlanta, Florida, Chicago, and Colorado), and then YOU will vote on one grand prize winner. Prizes could include a meal box or two for you to easily make dinner at home or a gift card to a home cooking supplies retailer (such as Williams-Sonoma) to amp up your kitchen routine.
The Dates
The contest runs from October 10 to 24, 2016. Upload your photos to your AMLI apartment community’s Facebook page as early as October 10 and no later than October 24, 2016. Voting on the grand prize winner will start November 2 and end November 16, 2016. Winners will be notified no later than November 18, 2016.
