Atlanta is a city where time is best spent outdoors—eating delicious food and downing cold drinks, that is. Not only are there some amazing restaurants all around Atlanta, but some of them have really great patios to enjoy time with your friends and family over a unique dining experience. Our list may not be the definitive list of Atlanta’s best patios, but it does include our favorites.

Park Tavern

500 10th St. NE

Park Tavern is located smack dab inside Piedmont Park. This place is great for people watching as there are always people out and about working out, flying kites and taking in nature. This large dog-friendly patio offers a wide selection of food from seafood, sushi, tacos and sandwiches – there is something for every appetite.

Venkman’s

740 Ralph McGill Blvd.

This newly constructed patio is part gourmet restaurant, part music venue. Venkman’s, located in the Old Fourth Ward, offers an intimate experience surrounded by greenery. They specialize in creative comfort food paired with nightly eclectic live music. Venkman’s uses quality ingredients such as wild and sustainable seafood, humanely raised poultry, grass-fed and free-range meats, locally sourced eggs and seasonal produce. Along with all the good food, they offer bottomless mimosas every Saturday and Sunday until 2pm.

Einstein’s

1077 Juniper St.

Whether you come for brunch, lunch, dinner or happy hour, Einstein’s always delivers clever recreations of Southern comfort classics. Their diverse menu includes unique options that will satisfy any appetite. Einstein’s offers small plates, snacks, salads, steaks, pasta, sandwiches and much more. This patio, located in Midtown, overlooks Juniper Street and is the perfect spot to enjoy the warm weather alongside a crisp cocktail.

Whiskey Blue

3377 Peachtree Road NE

Whiskey Blue has two rooftop outdoor terraces, which collectively overlook a spectacular view of Buckhead, Lenox Square and Midtown. Upon arrival, you will take a 125-foot climb in a glass elevator for a truly unique experience. This sophisticated, upscale spot offers signature cocktails, beers, wines, cigars and light fare with some dramatic views.

Tree House Pub

7 Kings Circle NE

This quaint bar and restaurant recently celebrated their 30th anniversary and continues to serve amazing food and drinks on its large patio. Located in Buckhead, The Tree House Pub offers brunch, lunch, dinner and a wide selection of beers and bourbons. Come to watch your favorite teams on their outdoor TV’s while enjoying the outdoor breeze.

One Eared Stag

1029 Edgewood Ave. NE

This patio is tucked away behind the main dining area, giving it an intimate feel. It is a mostly covered space to block out the harsh Atlanta sun during the daytime hours. This American style eatery serves house-cured meats and pickled vegetables all sources locally. Their menu changes daily and is always offering up different options and flavors.
