Inspiration for Your Night Out in Irving

by
Mar 21st, 2016

If you haven’t lived in the area long, you may not have heard much about Irving’s nightlife. While overshadowed by Dallas’ urban, thriving nightlife to the south, Irving’s modest size shouldn’t fool you. It’s got some excellent restaurants for dates and group celebrations, bars with master bartenders, and a few places to boogie down. If you live in luxury apartments in Irving and are looking to plan your next evening out and about, here are a few destinations to consider.

19 Bar

19 Bar at the Four Seasons offers an intimate, pub-like setting for enjoying gourmet food and top-notch craft cocktails. It’s also a nice place to catch a Cowboys game, if you like watching in cozy environments.

The Ranch at Las Colinas

If you want a quality steak but are more preoccupied with value-for-money than opulent fine dining, The Ranch at Las Colinas might strike the right balance. The food is farm-to-fork and the quality upscale, but The Ranch is neither too frilly nor near as pricey as some steakhouses in DFW. Its menu is rich in traditional steakhouse offerings. It also features Kobe beef steak raised nearby, chicken, elk tacos, Texas quail, and seafood, giving it broad appeal. Good live music and a well-stocked and tended bar round out the experience. The Ranch is only a four-minute drive from the Irving luxury apartments at AMLI Las Colinas, AMLI at Escena, and AMLI Campion Trail.

Fish City Grill

If you’re craving something fresh from the Gulf Coast, the Fish City Grill near the Las Colinas apartments at AMLI on Riverside is worth a visit. From Gulf oysters and cocktail shrimp as appetizers to honey chipotle shrimp cocktails and blackened or grilled rainbow trout for entrees, the menu features a range of seafood types and spices and flavors.

7 Salsas

The affordable, homestyle Mexican cuisine at 7 Salsas has many loyal patrons in its vicinity. Mouthwatering guacamole, a fajita salad, chuletas (pork chops slow-cooked in smoky morita sauce), tacos, chimichangas, and plenty of seafood and vegetarian options are included on this restaurant’s expansive menu. A large selection of margaritas makes 7 Salsas ideal for hanging out with close friends. For 15% off the entire order, residents of AMLI Las Colinas apartments just need to flash their PERKS card.

The Blue Fish at Las Colinas

If sushi is on your mind, The Blue Fish at Las Colinas will serve you sea-kissed bliss in roll or sashimi form. Tempura, Japanese salads, and teriyaki, and tepan food are also on the menu. A happy-hour menu features sake, beer, and wine for a pop, select food items for , and sweet mochi ice cream and chocolate spring rolls for . And AMLI residents, don’t forget to show that PERKS card to get 10% off at any Dallas location.

Cowboys Red River Dance Hall

Happy to embrace some of the widely circulated stereotypes about Texas, Cowboys Red River is a bar and club where you can shoot pool, battle the mechanical bull, and boogie to honky-tonk music from 7PM to 2AM. Thursday is Ladies Night: Women get in free, and everyone gets drinks for .50.

Whether you have a nice dinner date with your special someone at Bar 19, as special retirement party at 7 Salsas, or you turn on your boot scootin’ boogie at Cowboys Red River, we hope you consider Irving for your next night out.
