Conveniently situated near Printers Row in Chicago’s trendy South Loop neighborhood, AMLI Lofts is now open! To commemorate the occasion, the upscale apartment community hosted a celebratory event for new residents and select brokers late last month.
Turnout was great, and a well-coordinated schedule ensured attendees visited the community’s resident lounge, outdoor courtyard, and state-of-the-art fitness center. Fine drinks, tasty eats, and memorable entertainment were among the grand opening party highlights enjoyed.
A Circus of Fine Food and Drink
Culinary creations by Berghoff Catering proved quite a hit. They were devoured in their entirety well before the night was through. But this only tells part of the story of the dining experience. The food was served by Redmoon Theater’s talented actors and actresses, some of whom balanced piping hot dishes on steel skirts while adeptly covering ground on stilts. Wine was poured using a robotic libation machine. Table ladies provided an elegant touch to the service by dazzling guests as they traipsed around the room serving hors d’oeuvres from their Victorian hoop skirts. The Redmoon ensemble really helped set the tone of the evening, which was casual and fun but not without an air of sophistication.
Neighborhood wine seller Printers Row Wine Shop supplied the wine and Vice District Brewing the beer for the event, and were recognized for their generosity. The quaint Printers Row Wine Shop, with a selection and prices that can rival those of major sellers, is located within walking distance of AMLI Lofts. Also nearby, the Vice District taproom offers a stimulating environment in which high-quality craft beer can be enjoyed.
Santah’s Captivating Performance
An indie rock band from Urbana, Ill., Santah both energized and serenaded attendees with a set of well-selected songs. The talented group, previously unheard of by many attendees, won applause for its musical acumen. Sophisticated Party Favors
As gracious and appreciative hosts often do, AMLI Lofts offered parting gifts to residents. Rather than order generic party favors, several exciting gifts were fashioned specifically for the occasion. Attendees could choose from branded beer growlers, coffee tumblers, mustache USB storage devices, and drink coasters. Those wowed by Santah’s stellar performance could even opt for a copy of their newest CD as a way to remember the event.
Celebrating in style, AMLI Lofts wanted to offer new residents a glimpse of the luxurious community amenities they will enjoy. Things worked out, and all of the hard planning paid off as attendees really enjoyed themselves. “We had brokers tell us it was the best grand opening party they’ve ever attended,” said Jordan Rapp, sales and marketing coordinator for AMLI Lofts. The party turned out to be an excellent way for AMLI to show residents why its motto is Live Life + Love Life.
