Downtown Seattle’s best gyms and fitness studios

MOOV Seattle

MOOV Seattle near our luxury apartments in South Lake Union has become a go-to destination for those who want something a little more intense than traditional Pilates, specializing in Lagree fitness, which uses Megaformer machines for slow and controlled movements that build serious strength and endurance. The modern space and variety of class formats have earned it consistently high ratings on ClassPass and Yelp.

Pilates on 10th

Pilates on 10th in the Capitol Hill area is known for its expertly trained instructors who customize their workouts to each client's needs. The studio is particularly popular among those recovering from injuries or looking for a more personalized approach, as they also offer private sessions, duet sessions and group reformer classes. 

Emerald City Pilates 

Emerald City Pilates in Belltown takes a different approach by offering exclusively private one-on-one sessions. The owner is a former triathlete who competed at the World Championships and brings that athletic background to her teaching and training.

Arcaro Boxing 

Arcaro Boxing offers elite coaching alongside programs for youth and those with neuromuscular disorders, as well as a variety of Muay Thai and kickboxing classes. The gym takes a holistic approach that emphasizes long-term movement health alongside boxing technique.

CrossFit Felix 

CrossFit Felix in Belltown occupies over 5,000 square feet of clean and open space in the heart of downtown Seattle near our luxury Waterfront apartments. The gym operates on a "no mirrors, no egos" philosophy and welcomes drop-ins — so it’s very beginner-friendly! Their Felix 60 classes cover functional fitness, skill work and mobility.

Foundation CrossFit

Foundation CrossFit on Capitol Hill has earned a reputation as the premiere fitness instruction facility in Seattle! Beyond standard CrossFit classes, they also offer personal training, physical rehabilitation, nutrition counseling and competition training.

Cue CrossFit

Located right across from Lumen Field, Cue CrossFit offers 24/7 open gym access in addition to their popular group classes. Half the gym is dedicated to their open gym space, which is perfect for those who want flexibility in their training schedule.

Ampersand Fitness (formerly NW Fitness) is a locally owned gym with plenty of equipment and flexible hours, offering 4/7 access along with group classes in yoga, kickboxing and strength training. They also offer personal training and massage services.

Equinox Rainier Square

Equinox Rainier Square opened in 2025 as the first Equinox location in Seattle. The 35,000+ square foot facility includes state-of-the-art equipment, signature group fitness classes, a full-service spa and even a two-court indoor pickleball facility! ZŪM Fitness

Barry's Seattle

Barry's Seattle brought the famous "Red Room" to South Lake Union as the first Barry's location in the Pacific Northwest.
