AMLI Residents can share a photo of their favorite space in their apartment on Instagram from Tuesday, Oct. 1 to Friday, Oct. 18 for a chance to win up to $1,000 in gift cards.

We’re just about halfway through 2019, and AMLI has already exceeded expectations in meeting several sustainability milestones. Here’s a quick run-down of what’s been lighting up on our radar. Habitat for Humanity Donor Appreciation Award In May, AMLI received a Donor Appreciation Award from the Austin Habitat for Humanity ReStore, where we donated over 20,000 worth of materials, fixtures and appliances as part of our on-going renovations to our communities in the area. The Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink has been open for this holiday season for a few weeks now, but it’s been a tradition for over 20 years. Twenty-two years, in fact. AMLI recently partnered with Austin’s Habitat for Humanity to donate all our older model appliances, cabinets and more as part of our recent renovations at AMLI South Shore. These items will be available for Austinites to purchase at a steep discount from the local Habitat for Humanity ReStore in St. Edwards. Anything that can’t be resold will be recycled and saved from joining the average 5,500+ tons of waste that enters the Travis County landfills every single day, according to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
