Gregory

Gregory Mutz, CEO

Mr. Mutz is the Chairman & CEO of AMLI Residential, which he co-founded in 1980. He received a B.A. from DePauw University in 1967 and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1973. Mr. Mutz served as an infantry lieutenant in Vietnam (1968-69).

Phil

Philip Tague, President

Mr. Tague is President of AMLI Residential and started with AMLI in 1981. He oversees AMLI's development and construction activities. Prior to joining AMLI, Mr. Tague worked for the Chicago law firm of Mayer Brown. He received a B.S. from Northwestern in 1971 and a J.D. from Ohio State in 1977. He is a past president and/or chairman of the Atlanta Apartment Association, the Georgia Apartment Association, and the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Mr. Tague is an officer or member of the ULI, NAIOP, REIAC, IDRC, and the NMHC. He is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Allan

Allan Sweet, Vice Chairman

Mr. Sweet is Vice Chairman of AMLI Residential and has been associated with the Company since 1985. Prior to joining AMLI, Mr. Sweet was a Partner in the Chicago law firm of Schiff Hardin & Waite, with which he had been associated since 1978. He received a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1968 and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1973. From 1980 to 1983, Mr. Sweet was a trustee of American Equity Investment Trust, an over-the-counter equity REIT.

Steve

Steve Hallsey, President & CEO of AMLI Management Company

Mr. Hallsey is President and CEO of AMLI Management Company, which provides property management, leasing and corporate homes services to the AMLI® portfolio. Prior to joining AMLI, Mr. Hallsey was associated with Charles E. Smith Residential, as Executive Vice President (2001-2003). Prior to that, Mr. Hallsey was Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Glenborough Realty Trust (1998-2001); President and COO of Western National Group (1995-1998); President of Harbor Group International (1994-1995); Senior Vice President at Balcor-American Express (1990-1994) and Senior Executive Vice President at Clark Financial Corporation (1983-1990).

Mark

Mark Evans, President of ADC

Mr. Evans is President of ADC. He is responsible for managing all construction activities and shares responsibility for project planning with the various development teams. He holds a General Contractor license for Georgia, Florida, Denver, and Broomfield, Colorado. Mr. Evans received a B.S. from the University of Florida in 1982. He was previously associated with Peachtree Residential Properties (1992-94), Roberts Properties (1990-92), Grove Construction (1986-90), and AMLI Realty Co. (1983-86), serving in various construction roles.

Taylor

Taylor Bowen, Executive Vice President - Development

Mr. Bowen is Executive Vice President - Development of AMLI and ADC. He joined AMLI in 1997 and is responsible for AMLI's development activities in Texas. Previously, Mr. Bowen worked for Huitt-Zollars Engineers and Architects. He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Southern Methodist University in 1993 where he served on the SMU Board of Trustees. Mr. Bowen received an M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia in 1997. He serves on the Dallas Citiplace TIF Board, the Downtown Austin Alliance Executive Board, and formerly the Dallas Zoning and Ordinance Committee. He is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Stephen

Stephen Ross, Executive Vice President - Development

Mr. Ross is Executive Vice President - Development of AMLI and ADC. He joined AMLI in 1989 and is responsible for development activities in Chicago and other regions, including the origination, structuring and closing of investments. From 1989 to 1996, Mr. Ross led AMLI's financing activities. Before joining AMLI, he was associated with JMB Realty Corporation. He received a B.S. from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Mr. Ross is a member of the ULI and serves on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Village of Glencoe, the Board of the Illinois Medical District Guest House Foundation, and the Near South Planning Board.

Fred

Fred Schreiber, Executive Vice President - Development

Mr. Schreiber is Executive Vice President - Development of AMLI and ADC and has been with AMLI since 2007. Mr. Schreiber is currently responsible for development activities in Atlanta. Prior to joining AMLI, he was associated with the New York law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP (2004-2007). He received a B.A. from Emory University in 2001 and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2004. Mr. Schreiber is a member of the ULI and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Maria

Maria Banks, Executive Vice President

Ms. Banks is Executive Vice President and provides strategic direction and management over Information Technology, Marketing and Education functions. Prior to joining AMLI in 2005, she was employed with Deloitte, SBC, and Arthur Andersen. Ms. Banks received her BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois and was a CPA.

Ken

Ken Veltri, Senior Vice President

Mr. Veltri is Senior Vice President and Head of the Asset Management department. Prior to joining AMLI in 2005, he was the Senior Manager of Cost Assurance at Focal/Broadwing Communications (2000-05). He graduated with a B.S. from Bradley University in 1999.

James

James McCormick, Senior Vice President

Mr. McCormick is Senior Vice President and Head of Acquisitions and Dispositions. Prior to joining AMLI in 2006, Mr. McCormick worked in investment banking and private equity. He received a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University and an MBA from Wharton. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Pension Real Estate Association and the Chicago Real Estate Private Equity Network. Mr. McCormick is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Charlotte

Charlotte Sparrow, Senior Vice President

Ms. Sparrow is a Senior Vice President and heads the Legal & Risk Management Department. She earned a B.A. from Ripon College and joined AMLI in 1993. Ms. Sparrow is a member of NMHC, RIMS, and is active in several community-based organizations.

Stephan

Stephan Maritz, Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer & Treasurer

Mr. Maritz is responsible for AMLI’s Accounting and Treasury departments. Prior to joining AMLI, he was a Vice President at Heitman where he led the Corporate Accounting and Cash Management teams (2009-2013) and a Vice President at LaSalle Investment Management where he was the financial controller of two global funds (2006-2009). Mr. Maritz is a Chartered Accountant and holds a business degree from the University of Cape Town and a postgraduate accounting degree from the University of South Africa.

Jason

Jason Armison, Senior Vice President - Development

Mr. Armison is Senior Vice President - Development and joined AMLI in 2007. Based in Orange County, he is responsible for development activities throughout Southern California. Before joining AMLI, Mr. Armison was Vice President of Development/Operations for Barratt American where he managed all aspects of acquisitions and development. He received his Bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University in Economics and Environmental Studies and Planning. He received his Master's degree in Real Estate Development and Planning from the University of Southern California. Mr. Armison is a full member of the ULI and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Scott

Scott Koppelman, Senior Vice President - Development

Mr. Koppelman is Senior Vice President - Development and started with AMLI in 1999. Based in Seattle, he is responsible for development activities in Seattle. Before moving to Seattle, he participated in AMLI's development activities in various Midwest markets. Prior to joining AMLI, Mr. Koppelman was a city planner for Overland Park, KS, facilitating and regulating all aspects of new development. He received a B.S. in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University. He is a member of the ULI and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Andy

Andy Mutz, Senior Vice President - Development

Mr. Mutz is Senior Vice President - Development and is responsible for Denver development activities. Before moving to Denver for AMLI, Mr. Mutz participated in AMLI's development activities in Chicago. Prior to joining AMLI in 2010, he was a law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court. Mr. Mutz received a B.A. in History and Economics from Emory University in 2004 and a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2008. He is a registered attorney in Illinois and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Kevin

Kevin Neal, Senior Vice President - Development

Mr. Neal is Senior Vice President - Development and has been associated with AMLI since 2011. He is responsible for development activities in South Florida. Prior to joining AMLI, Mr. Neal was an Architect at NBBJ Design in Seattle. He received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Masters in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Jennifer

Jennifer Wolf, Senior Vice President - Development

Ms. Wolf is Senior Vice President – Development. She joined AMLI in 1990 and has held several different positions involving financing, feasibility, and analysis. Ms. Wolf is responsible for AMLI's development activities in Chicago. She received a B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1989 and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Traci

Traci Hall, President of the West Region of AMLI Management Company

Ms. Hall is President of the West Region and oversees the Texas, Southern California and Seattle markets. She joined AMLI Residential in 1990. Prior to joining AMLI, she was employed by American Residential Management Company. Traci attended Iowa State University, Brookhaven College and TCI Institute. She is a member of IREM, Toastmasters and is a graduate of the National Apartment Association (NAA) Leadership Lyceum. Ms. Hall served as the Apartment Association of Kansas City President from 2001- 2003; on the NAA Board of Directors 2004-2006 and the Apartment Association of Tarrant County President in 2011-2012. Additionally, she serves as an Executive Director for the Texas Apartment Association (TAA) and has been a director since 2008 currently holding the position of Secretary of TAA and President Elect for 2018. Traci is an active member of the NAA, chairing the Operations Committee for the 2015-16 term.

Dan

Dan Gladden, President of the East Region of AMLI Management Company

Mr. Gladden is President of the East Region and oversees community operations of AMLI’s assets in Chicago, Atlanta, Denver and Southeast Florida. Mr. Gladden currently serves on the Board of Directors and Legislative Committee of the Chicagoland Apartment Association. Prior to joining AMLI in 1999, he worked for several real estate appraisal firms and was a partner in a private real estate appraisal firm from 1992 to 1998. Mr. Gladden received a B.S. in Finance from California State University, Fullerton and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.

Ken

Ken Hitchcock, Senior Vice President - Construction

Mr. Hitchcock is Senior Vice President - Construction and is responsible for all construction activities in Texas and Colorado. Prior to joining AMLI, he was Managing Director for Optimal Holdings Group and President of Senderro Construction Services. Mr. Hitchcock received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Geology from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a member of the Chancellors Council of The University of Texas, Texas Association of Builders, Association of General Contractors, and the Multifamily Builders Council.

Fred

Fred Shapiro, Senior Vice President

Mr. Shapiro is Senior Vice President. He has been with AMLI since 1984 and works with AMLI’s Investment Committee buying and selling existing apartment communities. Mr. Shapiro received a BA from New York University and a JD from the John Marshall Law School.

Rick

Rick Fox, Chief Information Officer

Mr. Fox is Chief Information Officer and leads the IT department in supporting AMLI’s technology platform and all AMLI employees. He is a certified management accountant who started his AMLI career in 1996. Prior to joining AMLI, Mr. Fox was employed with Amerihost Properties as an Accounting Manager. He graduated with a business degree from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.

Leslie

Leslie Silverman, Senior Vice President

Ms. Silverman is Senior Vice President and leads the Human Resources department. Prior to joining AMLI in 1999, she was employed with Edelman Public Relations as Vice President Human Resources for their U.S. division (1998-1999). She also worked at American Express Travel Related Services (1984-1998) for the Travel and Card divisions in various Human Resource positions. Ms. Silverman graduated with a BA from the Ohio State University and received her MS from Syracuse University. She is also certified as a Senior Professional, Human Resources and a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and NMHC HR Forum.

Dale

Dale Abraham, Senior Vice President

Mr. Abraham is a Senior Vice President and leads the National Service department, which provides support for AMLI’s onsite maintenance teams, supports AMLI’s Risk Management department and implements AMLI’s green and sustainability strategies at the property level. He joined AMLI in 1997. Mr. Abraham received an honors certificate from ITT Tech for HVAC in 1987.

Christie

Christie Eash, Senior Vice President

Ms. Eash is a Senior Vice President in the IT department focused on software evaluations for onsite use. She has been with AMLI since 1992 and has managed Operations on the East Coast, National Operations of AMLI's Retail and AMLI's Corporate Homes, and has completed many AMLI community lease-ups over the past 20+ years. Ms. Eash is on the Executive Board of the Atlanta Apartment Association.

Kai

Kai Weber, Senior Vice President

Ms. Weber is the Senior Vice President of Brand Management and leads the Marketing department at AMLI. Prior to joining AMLI in 2004, she was employed with Archstone-Smith in a variety of positions. Ms. Weber graduated with a BA from George Washington University in Sociology and Women’s Studies.
