September 30, 2012, Alpharetta, GA – AMLI North Point apartments, a new community in Alpharetta, GA, has joined the green movement and is currently being built for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification. What is LEED Certification? A project is awarded LEED Certification when it meets LEED prerequisites and credit categories, determined by the U.S. Green Building Council, and earns a minimum 40 points on a 110-point LEED rating system scale. Prerequisites include factors such as compliance with all environmental laws and regulations and occupancy scenarios.
