AMLI Wallingford: Seattle Living at its Finest

by
Apr 4th, 2016

Situated above Lake Union in North Central Seattle, Wallingford ranks high on most lists of the Seattle’s best neighborhoods in which to live and play. Unlike many other trendy neighborhoods, though, Wallingford’s popularity has held strong since it first started booming nearly a century ago.

While we already have a strong Seattle presence in Ballard, South Lake Union, and Bellevue, we are thrilled to finally add AMLI Wallingford to the family.

Impeccable Interiors

A choice between two interior finish packages gives you some say in the basic design of your AMLI Wallingford apartment. All units have gourmet kitchens equipped with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, attractive tile backsplashes and vinyl plank flooring. Top-of-the-line washers and dryers are hooked up in every unit. Ceiling fans and programmable thermostats make climate control easy, comfortable, and energy efficient. When the outdoor temperature is nice, you’ll want to make the most of the views from your balcony or patio.

Lavish Community Amenities

AMLI Wallingford residents have access to a state-of-the-art fitness center; three rooftop decks with barbecue areas; resident lounges; and a clubroom with a kitchen and large-screen entertainment center with surround sound and WiFi connectivity. A workshop is available for those who tinker with DIY furniture and repairs. An off-leash dog park and pet spa make AMLI Wallingford very pet-friendly. A bicycle repair shop and controlled access garage with electric car charging stations make life easy for those using eco-friendly modes of transit. Throw in the scenic views afforded from most public areas, and apartment living doesn’t get much better.

Live-Work Units

In addition to studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, AMLI Wallingford has several unique live-work spaces. This practical apartment trend, which has grown in popularity across the country over the last decade, combines living quarters and workspace into one unit. This concept has made it easier for entrepreneurs to start a small business, especially creative types like writers and graphic designers. When you rent a live-work space, there’s no commute. You get to prepare lunch in your own kitchen, and you keep overhead low by living and working under the same roof.

Desirable Location

In spite of being primarily a residential neighborhood, the neighborhood has a Walk Score of 96. Bordering the U District, these Wallingford apartments are convenient for students and researchers at The University of Washington. Gas Works Park, Lake Union, and the Burke-Gilman Trail are three beautiful green spaces within walking distance of AMLI Wallingford. Grocery stores, breweries, restaurants, and pubs in the vicinity, along with access to public transit, all contribute to the neighborhood’s high walk score. AMLI Wallingford is just four miles from the heart of Downtown Seattle.

Seattle is home to a lot of attractive neighborhoods, but even among them, Wallingford stands out. Streetcar tracks, an old business district, storied taverns, and iconic tastes of Seattle that include Wallingford Pizza House, Dick’s Burgers, and Molly Moon, give the neighborhood an irresistibly quaint vibe. Make sure to tour this beautiful community when it opens later this month.
