A Taste of West Plano Village

by
Jul 22nd, 2015

After seven years of construction and design, the mixed-use community of West Plano Village is open for business. The retail and residential community is home to fine dining options and luxurious mid-rise apartments, and it’s all conveniently connected to everything else that Plano and the Dallas/Fort Worth area have to offer.

A life in West Plano Village is a life filled with beauty and convenience. Here’s a taste of what you can experience in the vicinity of AMLI West Plano apartments.

Tasty Eats

Just over a year ago, an eatZi’s Market & Bakery became the first West Plano Village eatery to open its doors. Since then, several other popular restaurants have moved in including: Kona Grill, Mi Dia, Pakpao, and Princi Italia. Just up the road from West Plano Village is a Chuy’s Tex-Mex and a one-minute jump across Parker Road brings you to Newk’s American eatery. Fans of Whiskey Cake who live in AMLI West Plano need only walk across the street to enjoy the delicious barbecue specialties and craft cocktails the upscale, farm-to-kitchen restaurant specializes in.

Awesome Apartments

A resort-style swimming pool with a beach-style entry is one of the highlights of the AMLI West Plano apartment community, located in the heart of West Plano Village. Other community amenities include a covered outdoor kitchen with a fireplace and TV; a resident business center; and a state-of-the-art fitness center that’s open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The pet-friendly community also has a paw wash, and two masterfully landscaped courtyards that complement the design of West Plano Village.

Entertainment and Recreation

A Cinemark XD movie theater with stadium seating is just a stone’s throw away, making it easy to catch highly anticipated films as soon as they are released. Nearby Windhaven Park, equipped with a kid-friendly recreation center and a nice walking trail, is a great place to enjoy a picnic.

Good Neighborhood Feeling

West Plano Village is a great place for a walk. Modern brick-and-stone buildings, designed by Dallas-based firm Hodges and Associates, complement impeccable landscaping to create a nice backdrop for strolling around. A central plaza, complete with fountains and benches, further contributes to the pleasant community environment. With its beauty, access to good schools and health care facilities, and promise of growth, West Plano Village is the sort of place that many would happily call home.

Retail and Services

Taking care of business is easy. The retail space in the mixed-use development has yet to be completely leased out, but will include a visionary AT&T retail store and a Charles Shwab branch. The community also has numerous hair and beauty salons and a massage parlor. The Shops at Willow Bend, which include an Apple store, Banana Republic, Crate and Barrel, J. Crew, Neiman Marcus, Restoration Hardware, and Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, are a five-minute drive. Preston Towne Crossing and Stonebriar Centre are also just a short drive away.

Killer Location

Not only does West Plano Village have fine restaurants, prime retail stores, and beautiful public space of its own, it’s just 25 minutes from downtown Dallas. It’s also less than 20 minutes from both Dallas Love and DFW airports, making it an ideal community for frequent business travelers.

Amenable, walkable, and conveniently located to the Dallas area’s best-connected transit pathways and cultural attractions, West Plano Village offers easy access to urban amenities without the bustle and chaos that go with it. If you’re fond of the mixed-use development concept, take the time to check out what West Plano Village has to offer.
